Varkenshaas

This is what our Christmas dinner looks like, well not really, but this is one of the components, Varkenshaas. Varken - what...you are probably saying??!! It really is just a way to say pork tenderloin in a mustard cream sauce. Don't let the name fool you, it's easy to make and is a taste sensation! It's especially good when you are all ham and turkey'd out after the holidays. My kids go crazy for it, requesting it everytime I ask them what I should make for dinner. Really, we just like to say the name...VARKENSHAAS... Barkin' Josh, Soph n' sauce...try it!

Mmm. I love mustard cream sauce. And I have a request. Would you post all the things you make for dinner each week because I need some new ideas. I wish I could beam you here to cook me dinner every night. (Don't worry...you'd be compensated.)

Oooh I am trying this. Daniel usually doesn't go for pork, but maybe this will change his mind. Oh and BTW, Jenni -- what's a hogiewogie? I've been wanting to ask you that for ages.

hogiewogie is just a nickname i had because of my maiden name and it was the only thing that came to mind when i started this blog on a whim...

I love pork and my kids will actually eat it - the sauce sounds great - I will have to try it.
