Make this tonight

Try this Chicken with Ginger from Everyday Food. I would dare say that it is better than take-out. We love this in our house, even Max who eats nothing sings its praises. I think it goes much better with noodles than rice. So easy, so good. What did we do before Everyday Food?

I still need to make this one. We make the one with the peaches and ginger all the time. Although I still think it needs a little tweaking. You need to post your chicken gyro recipe so everyone can enjoy it as much as I do--weekly, in fact.

Can you work on finding more desserts that use fresh ginger? You know...in your spare time. :)

Lindsey, you are right that chicken and peach dish does need something, but it sounds so good in theory. I am always looking for more ways to use fresh ginger. I always put it in smoothies, it's really good with peach, mango, yogurt and a liitle oj in a smoothie. It gives everything a nice zing, doesn't it? I'll work on more recipes, how about crystalized ginger? Do you like it/use it?

I will put the gyros on here asap.

I really like crystallized ginger. It's like candy. Oh, I guess it is candy. I have a great recipe for a whipped lemon curd ginger tart that has it in the crust and as a garnish. That will be posted on my blog as Thanksgiving approaches. We snack on it sometimes. The good stuff melts in your mouth. We like the kind from Australia. I'll have to try ginger in smoothies. I have to say that it sounds delish.
