Did you miss free cone day like I did? Blast! This is the flavor I would have chosen if I would have remembered to go. It is one of my favorite flavors that B&J make. I think Baskin Robbins may have their free scoop day coming though, or did I miss that too? If I haven't missed it, I will choose German Chocolate Cake if it is in that day. Most days it is not. Have you ever tried Graeter's Black Raspberry Chip? I hear it is tasty tasty. Maybe someday I will splash out and get the 6 pints for $50 smackerooos. Or better yet, I could probably just drive/ fly to Ohio for that price! Afterall, Cleveland is in Ohio and ever since 30 Rock last week, I've been aching to go to Cleveland. What is your favorite ice cream?

Jenni, I am sad, our local B and J where we saw you last year, is out of business. A paper store! Maybe the newly opened Cold Stone ran it off.
My favorite B and J is hands down Phish Food!
Jenni, I count on you every year to remind me about the free cone day! Oh, the good old days...
Yes. I only knew about free cone day after the fact.
Jenni--I'm going to experiment and make you some of that ice cream. It does sound good. Maybe that will entice you to come down for a visit....
Love it! I must have missed the itch to visit Cleveland?
I love ice cream too much! I love B&J's Cherry Garcia and NY Super Fudge Chunk, and Marble Slab's Coconut and their Amaretto- especially with cherries and chocolate chunks mixed in. Mmmmm.
Hopefully it doesn't take a drunk spitting in your mouth to get to Cleveland though!
Hey... we actually had a great time and awesome Ice Cream in Cleveland! Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Goshen Dairy in Ohio (I am sure in Cleveland) is the favorite Ice Cream place for my boys.
Ice Cream... Definitely at Sloans, a little Ice Cream shop here in West Palm Beach with famous "see-through" doors on their Rest Rooms. My personal favorite... Banana. I love Ice Cream! Chocolate and Nuts make the best combination.
We spent Easter in Cleveland, but the 3 1/2 feet of snow throughout the weekend made us think it was Christmas. We opted for hot choco instead of ice cream.
This is MY favorite flavor too!!
Lindsay, when you make it don't put walnuts in it. Walnuts blow.
Coconut Brownie Avalanche from Stewart's Shops is the exact same flavor as German Chocolate Cake. I think Stewart's are only in NY, though. But I swear it's a replica of the Baskin Robbins version.
oooohhhh, thanks for the inside information, blue house mom, it is quite disappointing to go to B&R and not find my fave flava! i will look into Stewart's for sure.
I agree, Mo. Especially in ice cream. But not caramel coved cashews like in my very favorite kind of B&J's--Uncanny Cashew. It's only available in select cities--and I've only found it in UT at Wild Oats. Sigh. I have to eat at least one pint by myself when I'm there.
