Chalazion, I have a Chalazion!

I will spare you the picture of MY chalazion, let alone any old picture from the files. What is a chalazion you might be asking? I know, I had never heard of a chalazion before today. Isn't the thin skin around the yolk of an egg called such, but spelled differently? I could be wrong there. That's not what I have (the thin skin surrounding an egg yolk). I have a lump on my eyelid called a chalazion. Who knew??!! It's been with me for a few weeks and in typical Jenni fashion, I have not consulted a doctor yet. Who needs a doctor when you have WebMD?! Right? So, it's been there for awhile and I had a new tube of Erythromycin, so I used that for a bit thinking it was some kind of infection. Not an infection. Then I started thinking that maybe it was a sty, but it didn't have all of the characteristics known to a sty. So, I consulted my trusty WebMD today and faster than you can say, "Chalazion" I had my diagnosis! How is that for speedy? All the while my husband is rolling his eyes at me because I won't make an appointment with a "real doctor"!! Phooey.

If you would like to know more about my chalazion and others like it, click here, but don't scroll down to the bottom if you have a weak stomache.

Honey, I am just trying to keep you from that slippery slope. If I let you go un checked it will be webmd today and a mixture of goat turd, chicken blood, and wheat grass tomorrow and I am not prepared for that.

Doesn't sound like the doc will do anything but say wait and see if it will go away. My feeling is why hang out with the sickies unless you really need to. I'm with you Jenni! :)

Remember when you gave Mo a kiss on the eye? :)funny.

hope Cha.z... goes away soon.

That sounds so annoying! I'm like you. I'd let it go for a long time without going to the doctor. Like this cold and sinus infection I've had for nearly 2 weeks. Oh, well. Hope it goes away soon.

I would totally wait, but if any of my children had it they would have been to the doc yesterday, why is that?

Interesting post about Chalazion, I have a Chalazion!, in these days chalazion is more common and people have to try to be careful with their health, for example I unfortunately spend much money in buying generic viagra only because I need it and well Im close to be a senior citizen.
